This is a big day for us – the launch of our website – and we’re so glad you’re here. We thought we’d use our first post to quickly introduce how we got here, and give a little grounding to who we are and our vision at AdaptiveX.
Let’s just get this out of the way: yes, we’re married, and, trust us, that’s a major bonus for our clients and partners! For over two decades we’ve worked together (very successfully) on all sorts of things in life and business. We’re finally making our professional collaborations formal after many years of talking and dreaming about it, and we couldn’t be more excited about this step.
When we first started talking about working together many years ago, we weren’t exactly sure what it would look like. At that time, one of us was in technology and the other in the public sector. It was hard to see how our professional lives would converge. As our separate careers progressed and changed, both of us increasingly found ourselves in roles that were leading change, growth and corporate innovation. Talking about our various experiences every day was exciting both intellectually and professionally, and we pushed each other to learn and do more — and better. We quickly realized that this was where our professional worlds really synchronized: corporate innovation and change management. The core of it all for both of us was a deep desire to help organizations of all kinds find new ways to solve the really big hairy problems they face – including engaging their people in more meaningful ways.
So that’s what AdaptiveX is focused on: helping organizations tackle big, complex problems and to introduce new ways of working (and giving them some awesome tools to accomplish that).
There’s a lot of proof all over the place that the business landscape is in a state of volatility and constant change, and that doesn’t look like it’s going to end any time soon. The needs and wants of people – consumers and employees alike – have shifted. Customers and clients have far more power than ever before to influence business outcomes, like flexing collective purchasing power or impacting brand reputation, as just two of many examples. Organizations have no other choice than to at minimum, keep up with the pace of change – a difficult task indeed. For organizations to be successful, they must adopt new strategies both internally and externally, and certainly a new toolbox.
Our goal is to help them in that journey, and we can draw on our deep experience to do just that.
What Makes Us Different
There are others like us, focusing on innovation and growth, but we think what makes us different is our focus on partnership and collaboration. Whether private, public or non-profit; whether big, medium or small; whether legacy, start-up or scale up, each organization is unique with a their own individual set of challenges and opportunities. And that means that there isn’t a “one-size-fits-all” program. Your organization’s journey is yours alone and a “copy and paste” approach is not our approach. Ours is about collaboration and co-creation. The value is just as much in the process as in the outcomes, and we’re there with you every step of the way.
We’re looking forward to growing and learning, and working with people like you!
